2008 SPRING DOIN'S and PLAQUING (Fri) APRIL 25th to (Sun) APRIL 27th, 2008 At BIRD'S LANDING (Near Suisun CA) We will be Plaquing..... The Bird's/Benjamin Store (Circa.1875) (Sat) April 26th at 11 AM NGH #37 Dale Welsh and the Greybeards of Sam Brannan Chapter #1004 invite all redshirts, in good standing, to attend our Spring Doin's at BIRD'S LANDING (Near Suisun Calif) In 1869 John Bird constructed a Wharf and Warehouse on Montezuma Slough. A town soon sprang up and by 1878 it boasted a Saloon, a Store, a Blacksmith, a Butcher Shop, a Shoemaker and a Furniture Business. Bird sold the store to the Benjamin's in 1921. THE CLAMPSITE The Clampsite is between Fairfield and Rio Vista on Bird's Landing Road. South off of Hwy 12 @ 113, Exactly 17 miles EAST on Hwy 12 From I-80. Then, follow the ECV Signs south on Bird's Landing Road about 7 miles, to the ECV Clampsite on the northwest side of the grounds. (GPS coordinates: 38.132852,-121.870887) THE CLAMPSITE GATES OPEN ON FRIDAY 4-25 at 4 PM THE RUB FOR THIS SPRING FUNCTION PRE-PAY REGISTRATION (by April 18th) is only $40.00 for Redshirts Send pre-pay to "Sam Brannan Chap #1004 ECV" P.O. Box 457, Napa, CA 94559 Day-of-the-event: $45.00 Redshirts, $60.00 for PBC's. Plan to bring a PBC PBC's $60.00 (and this includes the "Grub Stub") Hangman Scott "Faceplant" Enger says, "Bring me your PBC's that I might lead them out of their darkness, and show them the "Light of ECV".
